The College was founded under the vision and leadership of Apostle Emmanuel Nuhu Kure the Proprietor, who recognized the critical role of healthcare and education in national development. With a commitment to excellence, the institution was designed to provide high-quality training in nursing sciences, combining theoretical knowledge with practical clinical experience.
In line with regulatory requirements, the establishment process involved meeting the standards and guidelines set by relevant regulatory bodies, including the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). It also included the provision of essential infrastructure, recruitment of qualified academic and non-academic staff, development of academic programmes, and acquisition of necessary teaching and learning facilities.
The college was granted approval for admission for 2025/2026 session by the regulatory bodies (Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria and National Board for Technical Education) to start the National Diploma (ND) Nursing Programme.
The College commenced its foundational activities with the setting up of administrative structures, including the appointment of principal officers such as the Provost, Registrar, Bursar, and Librarian. These officers were tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the smooth take-off and operation of the institution.
